Establishing a Red Angus seedstock program was a natural progression for Dobson Cattle (formerly Pine Park). We were looking for a British breed that could compliment our Charolais and Composite programs. We wanted a breed that could provide a large gene pool, has accessible genetics, solid colour, sound performance recording. We needed low maintenance females with excellent maternal qualities and preferably red. Red Angus ticked all these boxes. We have purchased cattle and embryo’s from BST Tullatoola and Invocera and used AI sires from Australia and North America.
